Cave Fungus[]
Seeing as cave fungus is basically nonexistent in the game I take it they didn’t want you to actually make any of these.
-Now that it's all over the place in Honest Hearts along with the patch I suppose they just either wanted you to A. get it as a reward for defeating legionaries, or B. buy the DLC so you could make huge amounts of it. When you combine Honest Hearts and Old World Blues you can make a ton of Hydra, taking the Cave Fungus from HH and the Nightstalker blood from OWB. It's too bad that you have to do so much to go between the two. Considering how potent Hydra is especially combined with Chemist, Day Tripper, and Logan's Loophole, I don't doubt that they wanted to make its acquisition difficult.

The Fort Bug[]
When going into the fort even if you pass the speech check to keep your drugs hydra will still be taken from your inventory.
Source for Legion origin?[]
What exactly is the source for the Legion inventing Hydra? I can't remember it being mentioned anywhere ingame. Didn't find anything online either, other than this page.
