When I slept on the mattress behind the counter I woke up and dogmeat's puppy was there.... Did this happen to anyone else?

I know that this Wiki is filled with useless trivia and non-references, but would it be safe to imply that the name 'House of Wares' comes from a colloquial mistranslation of 'Warehouse' given her foreign heritage?

No, and most trivia sections are closely monitored and debated. So the bits about useless stuff isn't entirely true. Mictlantecuhtli 12:51, May 27, 2011 (UTC)
