There seems to be yet another way of having Greta get killed without the Robot perk or losing Karma at all.... I tried twice on my XBox360 version and both times the same result - the only requirement is the Mesmetron you get from the Paradise Falls guard: Look out for what paths Greta walks and find a moment, like just outside Carols Place before the steps when the Mr.Gutsy hovers around on the other side and she plans to go downstairs. Be careful to not have any witnesses nearby. Now walk up behind Greta and mezz her once or twice and have only her turn hostile, starting to shoot at you. If anything goes well, the Gutsy will see danger coming from her and instantly shoots her down, voilá. Could anyone with a savegame handy or just playing, please confirm that? thx

I had a bug when I told Charon that I had his contract, he answered that he'd talk to Anzhrukal, but they both didn't move anymore, and I couldn't talk to either of them.
- If it just happened the one time I would've suggested that you load from the auto save of you walking into the Ninth Circle (or other save nearest to that event if you don't have auto save on). If it kept happening through the different loads then the next thing I would suggest is to see if you can somehow prompt the Charon killing Azerath script via the console? I'm not too friendly with the console so your best bet would be to read up on about it on the wiki. - WeHeartKatamari

Charon/Ahzrukhal freeze bug[]
Noticed it happened to me only when I told Charon that I held his contract while Ahzrukhal was sleeping. I'm guessing that this could be extended to include any time that Ahzrukhal is not standing behind the bar. Can anyone confirm?

After pussing out in the Dunwich building, which, by the way, is probably the only place in the game where ghouls can be even remotely frigthening, I decided to grab a follower to keep the magical ninja zombies off me; I chose Charon. However, on my way to Underworld, Greta was on her smoking break. Sensing opportunity, I blew her head of with a silenced 10mm pistol. This was before I had even spoken to Ahzrukhal. When I did talk to him, there was no dialogue option for Charon's contract, and I am now unable to hire him.
I play Fallout 3 on an XBox 360, with not patches. If anyone could investigate this further, that would be nice. Don't hesitate to ask if there's anything else that you need to know. --71.10.50.192 16:59, 20 June 2009 (UTC)(Or that stupid jackass IP noob)

On Very Easy mode, you do not have to wait 72 hours, intstead you wait 15 hours and everyone in Underworld is non-hostile. Thinking of putting it in the article when I have all the limits.

Regarding my recent edit[]
Why was my edit of the notes removed? The note saying that "Killing Ahzrukhal yourself will grant you positive Karma, but you will not be able to recruit Charon ever, since this is a quest reward." is simply not true. It is possible to kill him (and getting the positive Karma) and still recruit Charon using the method I added.
My edit was removed due to "sounds like strategy". This confuses me even more, since there are a lot of strategies on ordinary pages on this wiki, and the current state of the article regarding the above, is simply not true.
After all, I just wanted to share my method I found, since it is a pretty big Karma reward and Charon is a great companion. It is worth noting it is possible to get both instead of saying it's impossible (which is false).
