Ballistic[]

You can't call any of the weapons under "notes" ballistics. Bows and crossbows are not ballistic in any sense of the word, paddle balls cannot be ballistic, they're not even launched. Missile launchers (and by extension Hellstorm launchers) are considered explosive, it even says so on their page(s). Therefore they are not "bugged" as they aren't ballistic weapons.

By the same token of what's listed here, why are plasma and laser guns not listed? They aren't ballistic either. Nor do they have the tag. And what about alien blasters?

My point is: there's no point in claiming "these are bugged" when it's both not a bug and there are also other weapons that fall into the same/similar categories without the tag either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Selocon (talkcontribs) 22:49, 15 November 2022‎. Ballistic weapons are the ones that don't deal energy, fire, poison or cryo damage. That's why laser guns are not listed there, but bows, paddle ball and launchers are. Chraczil (talk) 12:49, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
The passive effect only applies to weapons with the "WeaponTypeBallistic" keyword. The following weapons are bugged in that they lack this keyword, and their damage will not be reduced:
  • Bow
  • Compound bow
  • Crossbow
  • Hellstorm missile launcher
  • Missile launcher
  • Paddle ball

Again, though, some of these aren't even classified as that. Missile launchers of any sort are explosive weapons, just like grenades are. They're literally increased by Demo expert. So...why put those on here?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Selocon (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Read my message again. There's no explosive damage type in the game. None of these weapons deal energy (or fire/cryo) damage by default so they are ballistic weapons. The bug here is these weapons lack the "WeaponTypeBallistic" keyword. Chraczil (talk) 18:08, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
