I've edited the page to be more encyclopedic. The writing I cut I include here for easy reference. Though, without any references, I strongly suspect this is non-canon fanfic. I put in a template request for needs verification, but if none is coming, I suspect I'll have to delete the quotations, to. (Thelee 20:03, January 27, 2012 (UTC))

i traced the source of the entirety of the prose to an edit made by User:Ausir way back in the day. It's unreferenced, seems to know an awful lot about stuff (specific quotes), all despite the fact that Hecate only exists really in design docs (didn't even have an interaction with the player in Van Buren?). I had to google around to make sure that the only source for these quotes or snippets of text appear to be this wiki itself.

I strongly suspect this is just fanfic, filling in the details via imagination. I know Ausir is supposed to be some legend around here, but I'm not trying to do any kind of drama, this just all sounds really dubious. So, I've gotten rid of that entire section. After digging around the design docs, I can confirm that all the text, word-for-word, comes from the Ouroboros design docs. Kind of amateur-ish writing, so maybe it's a good thing Van Buren got cancelled. Anyway, I've added references to the page and removed the needs verification tags.
