Has anyone tested the respawn on the Raiders? It seems like this would be a great " home away from home " if your items stuck around inside, and of course if the raiders didn't appear back within. GrandSabo 17:10, 17 May 2009 (UTC)GrandSabo

I'm not sure about the Raiders inside, but for my game there's a nasty random spawn of Talon Company Mercs outside near the Jury Street Metro Station, which might be a problem. Other than that, I don't see why it wouldn't make for a good storage spot. Mr. Sully 18:26, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
I think fast travel makes regional bases redundant. Most of the power sub stations make good bases. I use the one near Minefield mainly, and there is only ever one creature that spawns nearby. A few of the other sub stations suffer from packs of mercs spawning on the doorstep also.

Are the raiders there before activating the purifier? I never knew about this place until yesterday when I happened to wander past Jury Street. I thought it was part of the Settler mod at first, since I had just installed it and was looking for a place to settle, lol. SpellChecker 13:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

It's a yes on both accounts. The raiders respawn, and they do exist before activating the purifier. There are three inside, but the two on the roof only appear after completing Take it Back. Nitpicker of the Wastes 13:54, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

possible glitch[]

for some reason my followers wont enter the building, and when i exited to the roof ( to get the fingers off the raiders i sniped) they were no where to be found, i solved this by waiting an hour but why wouldnt they follow me in? i have Fawkes and Dogmeat's Puppy so someone with other followers may want to test them but if it is a glitch then why?

Just confirming that the safe can already be open on the 360, too - it was for me.

Charon couldn't follow me in on PC. He disappeared, then came running back a few minutes later when I left the building. Safe was already open PC also. Not sure that this means anything. Maybe they were using it at the time?

Same problem for me: Dogmeat and Paladin Cross failed to join me inside and were nowhere to be seen when I exited. Solved by reloading and telling them to wait.

The above on PC with all 5 DLC's and 1.6 patch.

edit bug[]

edit the follower bug. i went in with charon (as it said he didn't come in with me) and i jumped down from the roof. but i only waited a couple minutes real time and charon randomly appeared down the street to the east. take out that 1 hour wait part... however i was in sneak mode with a stealth boy because there were about 7 talon company mercs across the street...and it was night...thats the only things i can think of that might have any effect on it.

Possible bug? (360)[]

When I went there and tried to go onto the roof before completing the main quest it took about five minutes to load the roof. The only reason I waited is because the timer kept going the whole time (no freeze). It was really weird.
