Actually, in my xbox version, he died from a recruit's grenade.

Same here. I found him dead on the shooting range where a Brotherhood of Steel Initiate was throwing grenades at the target dummy.

I just saw gunny outside the citadel area when i had to glitch out to go get rothchild. he was about 20 feet up in the air however. --Skullriot 13:05, December 14, 2009 (UTC)

Gunny can die after he trains you in power armour

I have an explanation for the grenade thing. There is a perticular Initiate that has grenades on him and if you steel his weapon he will start using his grenades. This can get alot of people killed and if you do not mind the mass amounts of Brotherhood deaths it is a great way to get holotages. Seprith 02:58, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

Name change[]

No. Paladin is his rank. Gunny technically isn't his name either (I'm presuming), but it's the only known name for him. --MadCat221 04:38, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

If your given premission to talk to this guy about training for power armor but you don't do it and you continue doing the main storyline then come back before you finish, can he still train you? He won't even talk to me now.

After the beginning of Take it Back! you will get power armor training if you don't already have it. Kris mailbox 18:50, August 8, 2010 (UTC)
