Leveled and Off?[]

I JUST got these and noticed something off about them. One leg piece had low Damage Resistance with slightly lower Energy Resistance, and the other piece had higher DR and ER, but the ER was still a little lower when compared to normal Combat Armor leg stats. I didn't think much of it, maybe one was standard and the other was polymer.

When I actually tried them on, one was the regular version of Combat Armor and the other was the Heavy version. How the hell did THAT happen? -Malus X (talk) 02:17, December 5, 2015 (UTC)

I got these at a lowish level and they are BOTH light combat armor. Not sure why as all the vids and this page says one should be Light and the other Sturdy--Wulfharth (talk) 14:55, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
I think they're SUPPOSED to be leveled, but maybe whoever programmed them screwed up somehow. Still waiting on an official answer from the admin, though. -Malus X (talk) 05:48, December 11, 2015 (UTC)

I had a level 20-30 character go for them and they came up as light combat and sturdy combat. A couple retries and they eventually became both light but one of them weighed more even though they both had no modifications. A different time they were synth pieces sturdy and heavy at a much later level. And no, they won't become light leather pieces if you try your best at a lower level than 7, they're still light combat.

Not in chest[]

I went in to find these boots, found the safe they were supposed to be in, but it was empty, tried reloading, still not in there. I tried reloading outside of the cell, and they were still missing. Update, started a second character and tried to get these. Safe was full, but no armor inside. Also tried spawning them in, and the items apparently don't exist in my files. Does anyone else have this issue? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.251.8.248 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~! 2:46 AM UTC December 18, 2015

-Had this issue, too. I wonder if entering the Mass Fusion's lower floors by mistake during random searching caused them to despawn? CO 41st Corsairs RCT (The Black Hawks) (talk) 07:02, July 16, 2016 (UTC)

--Did the walk off trick, they spawned. But of different levels (One heavy combat, one light combat.) CO 41st Corsairs RCT (The Black Hawks) (talk) 07:04, July 16, 2016 (UTC)

Armor Variants?[]

Looking at the handful of other articles we have on legendary armor pieces, we don't go into this much detail regarding the stats of each level (light/medium/heavy) of that armor piece. What makes this possibly unique is that it is a rare case where a legendary mod apparently is only available via armor found in a specific location and never as random loot (AFAIK). I'm not removing the variants for now (the base combat armor legs have different stats), though I did remove the unnecessary phrase regarding "20 tries" (seeing as 5 seconds in FO4Edit shows the three variants). Just wondering if anyone else finds it too wordy that we do this only for this particular set of armor pieces. -- DeJuanNOnley (talk) 21:08, February 12, 2016 (UTC)

Spawning on Mass Fusion Entry[]

Evidently from all the posts to the contrary here I'm experiencing a bug, but the safe's contents for me spawn as soon as I enter Mass Fusion rather than the alcove with the safe. Just a note for this bug - I am on XBone. Hamosh (talk) 14:36, February 29, 2016 (UTC)

Springheel jack[]

could jack rockford be a reference to springheel jacks boots in oblivion, they both are items which negate fall damage —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.203.215.237 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Four different stats (The fourth one)[]

Actually, the legs can spawn with four different stats. The strongest one, the fourth one, for the right leg, has damage protection 20, energy protection 18, weight 12.2 and value 330 caps.

I only got the right leg at level 87. I didn't have the left leg for "the fourth one". So I don't know about that one. Probably the same stats with weight 10 (based on how it is incremental). No mods installed for the game.

Someone can check it for themselves and reedit the page.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:E68:5446:D9E:2991:FE2C:9AB1:25A1 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Freefall Legs Base ID[]

So, on this page, the only base ID given is for the mod, but for whatever reason, no one thought to add the IDs for the items themselves.

I mean, I get it that they're just random tier combat armor legs with legendary modifiers on them, but they can still be manually spawned on PC using the base ID of the leveledItem lists used to spawn them in the Mass Fusion building.

Long story short, you can spawn them using these commands:

player.additem 5a7c7 1 (full set)

player.additem 5a7c9 1 (left leg)

player.additem 5a7cb 1 (right leg)

And I feel like that's the sort of thing that should be at least mentioned on the page somewhere.

You saved me alot of trouble. Thank you! 119.74.246.213 22:11, July 8, 2019 (UTC)

Fifth Possible Value[]

A guy a few posts above me said he found a piece with 20/18 resists while at a high level. My character is level 43 and I have found a left leg with 11/9 resistances a weight of 3.0 and a value of 152. This is possibly caused by the modifications on it but I'm not sure as I quickloaded to try to get a better version. This is a link to a screenshot I took when I picked it up. https://imgur.com/a/tJWhOdA T3hninjasnowman (talk) 13:27, July 19, 2018 (UTC)
