For me, the conversation triggers that start this quest don't come up until after the 90 day cut-scene. Has anyone completed this quest before March 5th/90 days?
Skill Check?[]
I passed a skill check without using the workaround and with only having 2 Charisma. Are we sure the info in this article is correct in reference to a "7 Charisma" hard value? I was wearing metal armor and unarmed, at 0200 in the morning, and chose "would you want a bullet in your head" to get him to be searched. After [Search Him] I didn't get attacked, I was sent to the police officer gaining 1000 XP for peacefully solving the crime. I've repeated this to confirm the result with the same save file: I have passed the skill check with 2 charisma to get the same result four times over about 20 tries. The fact that it doesn't occur every time (he attacks the majority) makes me think it is still a skill check, but not a hard value.
Can anyone else confirm whether they are able to pass this skill check with less than 7 Charisma so the article can be properly updated? Fallout 1 version 1.2. Blackhawk767 (talk) 21:13, May 27, 2017 (UTC)
