So I bought this computer so I could play Fallout 3 on it and maybe even play online. Nope. Computer came with Windows 7 and apparently, the top of the line is just too sophisticated for Fallout developers to bother with. It's a year and a half later and WHERE THE HECK IS THE COMPATIBILITY PATCH AT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When starting Fallout 3, Live prompts me to update to the newest version. I click to apply the update, then I get a status bar. The status bar doesn't move at all after that. My internet seems to be fine otherwise, so I'm not certain what the issue is. Any suggestions?

This patch fixes the crash on exit, enjoy it while you can since the next DLC will probably reintroduce it like the last two have. SpellChecker 18:13, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Bug fixes[]
Bethesda seems to enjoy not giving full information on patch fixes (for example, silently fixing the non-persistent objects in mods problem from 1.5 in 1.6). Does 1.7 have any unadvertised fixes that people have seen? Are Ghoul Ecology and Superior Defender fixed? Does Evan King's death by random encounter no longer lead to Arefu trying to kill you? Winterized T-51b Power Armor fixed[]
Can anyone else confirm that their T-51b Power Armor reward from completing Operation: Anchorage is no longer invulnerable? I just tested it while playing through Broken Steel and found out the hard way...
Additionally, while playing Broken Steel this time around I did not get the bug where Rothchild doesn't correctly move toward the map in order to advance the quest. Hope it was truly fixed this time rather than luck. -sumpwa
Remove CD Check?[]
