Don't poke at the bear?[]

Does this quest actually exist?[]

The only source we have for this is in the Official Game Guide. There’s no ID linked to this quest and no dialogue with the NCR Ranger hit squad suggests they were sent out because the Courier had failed to establish a relation with the NCR.
