Is it actually possible to turn this quest down?

Does this ever happen at any of the already occupied settlements, eg Far Harbor?

I don't think it is possible to turn down the quest (since creatures will spawn anyway) and no, this quest is only available from owned settlements (e.g. ones you can build on) with settlers on them. If you claim a settlement but do not install a radio beacon - you won't get the quest as they are the questgivers. --Branebriar1930 (talk) 16:48, August 4, 2020 (UTC)

Yes or transfer settlers from another settlement as an alternative to a beacon. So I think I will remove the language where it says you can turn down the quest. I don't think you can in any meaningful sense. Spikezarkspike (talk) 18:34, August 4, 2020 (UTC)
