Untitled[]

I have found a bug on here where all of my weapons do 0 damage, besides the Baseball Bat, which does double damage, and I and my party (which consist of Dogmeat and Fawkes) do not get hurt, and all of the super mutants that I killed morphed into the ground, and I was unable to do anything (besides talking to Dogmeat.) If someone can help me that would be very much appreciated.

Moved[]

This was moved from the main page: "I did not have the patience to figure out how to jump to it, but if anyone has, let us know if there's anything unusual there (I assume not). (Some caps and organs.)"

--MadDawg2552 21:44, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

This was also removed: "Clifftop Shacks are likely reference to 'The Hills Have Eyes' movie."

While I have not personally seen the film the term "clifftop shacks" is so generic the author will have to provide some concrete evidence of a connection. Otherwise I'm simply counting it as a coincidence. - 20 April 2009

Easter Egg[]

In my game when I enter the shack with the nail board, I hear a beating heart coming from the back of the room, does anyone else? If anyone else does, it's likely a reference Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart".

that was your own heart dummass. you were low on health so your heart was beeting

Ironically, in more ways than one, you misspelled 'dumb-ass' and 'beating'.

I had this too, although I thought it sounded more like footsteps. I had full health so I doubt the poor speller is correct,--JohnnyVoodoo 19:45, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I heard this too. I had around 3/4 health, so it wasn't my heart beating. It sounded like the squelch the game makes when a limb is severed from a body, like if you hit a body with a bat enough times etc. Could be a reference to EAP, especially with the safe under the bed

Trivia[]

Are you sure there is a tub with a skeleton and a toaster in it? I remember seeing that in the Wasteland gypsy village, and none in these shacks. Also, it should be under notes anyways instead of being alone in the trivia section. - 68.151.53.77 01:49, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Teddy Bear[]

Do we really need an explanation of what to do with Teddy Bears. We know they're for the baby in The Pitt. Has this guy changed every other mention of TBs to say so too?--JohnnyVoodoo 23:15, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

wow , so sorry ! i didnt think it this way. you are right --Replikanxxl 12:14, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
No worries dude, I think I over-reacted anyway!--JohnnyVoodoo 10:35, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

random encounters[]

i found a dead wastelander with a note on him describng how somebody named marco or michael killed his family so he went searching to kill him but couldnt find the guy, so he started thinking about killing himself. (The waselander was at the bottom of a rope bridge, so i assume he killed him self.) The only problem is that i couldnt fnd any thing about this on the random encouters page, or an idivual article on it either. i think the note was titled ' dead end'

-- wow... nevermind about this post. as soon as i remembered the title of the note i searched 'dead end'. wich i had not tried earlier, and found the page: [1]

Safe under the bed[]

Just wanted to confirm that there was a locked-average safe under the bed. Someone continues to remove the safe from the list of notable loot. M2austin 03:14, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Yes there is a safe under the bed, but it is not notable loot. Notable loot is limited to skill books, hard to find items such as mini-nukes and rare weapons and/or ammo, etc. A safe can contain anything from something wonderful to simple junk and some caps. It's not notable. Also please sign your posts. Thanks. --Kingclyde 00:53, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
Got it. Where then should the safe and the footlocker appear in the main article? Could you show me? M2austin 03:14, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

I would place it in the notes. --Kingclyde 03:15, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Super Hero's Grave?[]

After completing the SuperHuman Gambit for the Ant Queen I found the shacks and in the pile of dead wastelanders was the Ant Queen. Then after completing the quest for the Mechanist, I found him in the same spot.--76.197.12.179 19:40, October 30, 2011 (UTC)Anon
