This building has a recycled layout from Fallout 3's Republic of Dave. It's the main building where President Dave lives.

Nightkin Bug[]
Just wanted to mention that the bug noted on this page, (Where you reload a save after talking to the Nightkin) also happened to me, as well, and I am using the PS3. So far it's only been listed as a bug that happens on the PC and Xbox, so I figured it might be worth mentioning it happens on the PS3, as well.Vulpes Inculta 17:31, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
I killed the Nightkin inside the pen and he respawns dead near the SE corner (not close to where I left his body), the save/reload bug also happens. LOTW 00:28, December 21, 2010 (UTC)LOTW
Night kin possible owner?[]
Just thought aboutt he fact that the items in the building is considered owned,even though there seems to be no human around to own it.So i thought,could it be possible that the nightkin is considered the owner of Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch?81.231.59.40 21:54, December 3, 2010 (UTC)
- There's also a dead wastelander found at the ranch who could be Brooks. Although the fact that it's called a "tumbleweed ranch" would suggest that the nightkin is Brooks, as no sane human would herd tumbleweeds for a living. Still, maybe Brooks was an insane chem junkie and it is him lying dead on the ground. Plus, the nightkin makes no reference to it's name, nor does his subtitle name him as "brooks". Strangely, the only bed in the ranch house has a single tumbleweed atop it. Maybe the Nightkin put it there and personified it as Brooks. --Carcerem 18:25, March 6, 2012 (UTC)
Fiends fit to take down a BoS Bunker.[]
While I was completing Heartache By The Number I was attacked by Fiends coming from Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch. Of course this would be insignificant BUT they both had Pulse Guns. I was delighted. This was after completing Veronica's mission, but I decided to find the C-Finder. Has anyone else found this delightful treat or am I just that lucky? :D

Nightkin Glitch[]
As of patch 1.4, glitch/exploit still works on PS3 ... I saved game at open gate entrance to corral (cattle pen) ... (Nightkin spawns as soon as player enters corral and approaches tumbelweed to left of gate)...I triggered Nightkin to spawn and completed dialogue getting free Stealth boy ...I then reloaded save (ie. at entrance to corral)...proceeded towards tumbleweed as before but Nightkin did not spawn ... I fast travelled away and continued game ...later, after I had exited game, then returned and loaded my most recent save (long after the Nightkin no-show) ...sure enough, Nightkin respawned (now at different location) and proceeded to attack everyone else in sight before initiating "crazy" dialogue with me ..Once I completed dialogue Nightkin walked off. Reloaded save again (this time, in game without exiting) and Nightkin did not spawn. --TuskNB 19:56, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
Behavior changed in the last patch?[]
As of 1.4 (PC patch), the nightkin takes my caps even if I offer to buy the wind brahmin without asking the price. It's never done that before. Anyone else noticing this?Rooker75 06:31, July 17, 2011 (UTC)
I noticed it just now. He takes all my caps instead of giving me the stealth boy. The other bug I noticed with the new patch was how it keeps everyone in the Vikki and Vance, including Johnson Nash, who can't be traded with if Meyers is chosen as the new sheriff. No more free stealth boy?[]
I play on the 360, might have something to do with the latest patch, i used to be able to get the free stealth boy, but now all he does is just take my caps and gives me nothing. Does this happen to anyone else?
It happens because of the latest patch. It's one of the bugs that resulted because of it. Lobsel Vith 21:03, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Wrangler just attacks[]
