A subway token is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
The subway token is a small, slightly tarnished coin that says "Boston subway" on both sides with a 1 in the center. These tokens were used by the Boston MTA as payment for turnstiles at subway and monorail stations.
Protectrons with the subway steward personality will request these from people they find in the subway and will become hostile should they not be presented with a subway token, similar to the remaining security protectrons in the Washington, D.C. Metro.
Locations[]
- 11 inside West Roxbury station.
- Nine are scattered around the cash registers of College Square station.
- Seven at Revere Beach station.
- Six inside Copley station.
- Can be found randomly in containers, most often in subways, but pretty much every low tier container (i.e. desks and filing cabinets) can contain them as well.
- Extremely common in the inventory of dead feral ghouls if looted, as feral ghouls are prone to spawn several different variants of junk and miscellaneous items.
