Background[]
Stationed at Grafton Steel Underground, Steve fell head-first into a smelting vat when an unsecured chain caught his leg and tripped him up, killing him. Supervisor Althea Karavitis claimed that it was the facility's first loss of life in seven years and sent the Mr. Messenger service to notify his wife and children. As a result of the incident, Karavitis commissioned a new safety film for the employees to watch.[1]
