Simmons was an employee of Hornwright Industrial before the Great War.
Background[]
Simmons and a fellow employee were responsible for automating security protocols for Hornwright's new security robots, setting up certain robots to deliver kill switch access cards to site supervisors in case of malfunctions. However, Simmons' associate feared that the company would no longer use human supervisors, thus rendering the failsafe useless, and asked Simmons to double-check with headquarters before releasing a particular sentry bot.[1]
