The signal interceptor plans are a quest item in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
Schematics to build the signal interceptor. With it, the player character can ask either the Minutemen, the Railroad or the Brotherhood of Steel for help building it. The interceptor is required to gain access to the Institute.
Location[]
- Obtained from Brian Virgil when returning to him during The Molecular Level.
- Found on either Proctor Ingram, Sturges or Tinker Tom if they have been given the plans.
- The plans will be visible in their trade menu:
- before any construction of the signal interceptor has begun
- after the player has returned from the Institute (though this is not particularly useful)
- The plans cannot be obtained from the NPC if the signal interceptor has been built but not used yet, or is still under construction. This includes if the signal interceptor was built but then stored.
- Depending on the NPC and quests that are currently in progress, it may be difficult to access their trade menu.
