Need a helping hand on the homestead? Build a Scavenger Collectron Station in your C.A.M.P. to send a Collectron Bot out in search of Junk or Scrap.fallout.bethesda.net

The Scavenger Collectron station, or simply the Collectron, is a resource-gathering Atomic Shop C.A.M.P. object in Fallout 76.

Characteristics[]

When built, Collectron stations will create a Collectron that will wander the nearby area. The station's container will produce one random item every four minutes and 48 seconds for scrap, or every ten minutes and 12 seconds for junk. The station can be set to search for junk items or raw scrap at the terminal. Collectron stations have a maximum storage capacity of ten pounds. They must be checked and emptied regularly in order for them to continue producing items.

Crafting[]

Extractable resources[]

Scrap Junk
  • Very rare scrap (very rare) (1)

  • Very common junk
  • Uncommon junk (common)
  • Rare junk (rare)

Location[]

Collectron stations may be built at claimed public workshops or at a player character's C.A.M.P. after being purchased in the Atomic Shop.

Notes[]

  • Like other resource extractors, Collectron stations can be locked by approaching them while in build mode. While other resource extractors need only one lock, fully securing a Collectron station requires two locks - as the bin and terminal are locked separately. If one attempts to pick a lock on an extractor owned by another player, one will become Wanted and will trigger turret defenses.
  • The Scavenger Collectron station contributes to the limit of only one type of Collectron station per settlement, meaning that one cannot have both the Scavenger Collectron and another type of Collectron at the same time.
  • To change the color, simply store the unit and place it again for a chance at green, blue, yellow or black. The Collectron must have exited the storage unit before the unit can be stored.
