Robert Edward Lee was a famous Civil War general mentioned in Fallout 3 and Fallout 76.
Background[]
Lee was a career military officer who is best known for having commanded the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia in the American Civil War. Despite an offer from President Abraham Lincoln to lead the Army of the Union as its general, Lee followed his birthplace, Virginia, in its secession. He would lead the Confederate armies as the most significant general for four years until his surrender to Union forces at the Appomattox Court House in 1865.
His home can be found in Arlington Cemetery.
