Background[]
Ransette informed Senator Sam Blackwell that the department was going ahead with the installation of the Appalachian Automated Launch System, and that there was no way for him to stop it. Furthermore, Ransette warned him to stop insinuating about timing discrepancies between the military and civilian warning systems, or face life in prison.[1]
