Raising the Flag is a promotional lithograph done by Chris Seaman and offered by Bethesda Softworks in the official online shop. It is based on the iconic photograph of U.S. Marines raising the flag over Iwo Jima, with the Marines and the flag replaced by Brotherhood Paladins and the flag of the order, respectively.

It is a limited, individually numbered edition of 500 prints, signed by the artist.

About the Artist: Chris has been a freelance illustrator for over a decade. He has worked on such properties as Dungeons & Dragons RPG, Kaijudo: Duel Masters CCG, World of Warcraft CCG, Harry Potter CCG, Hearthstone and Pathfinder RPG, to name a few. In 2014 Chris’ personal work, Beaute’ et la Bête, was included in Spectrum 3 group show at the Society of Illustrators (New York, NY). In 2013 Chris' work appeared in the group show, ZOMBIE at Last Rites Gallery (New York, NY). In 2012 his work took on a new role as educator in a one-man exhibit at the Canton Museum of Art (Canton, OH) titled Epic: Warriors of the Fantastic. Showcasing 54 original works celebrating and educating the public to the pop culture of tabletop games. His personal work has appeared in Spectrum Fantastic Art 19, 20 and 21, the best in contemporary science fiction and fantasy art from around the world. In 2009 Chris’ body of work was awarded Best In Show at Gen Con (Indianapolis, IN), the largest gathering of fantasy and science fiction gaming in the United States. Chris continues to work on his personal and commissioned projects and exhibit around the U.S. You may find more of his work here.
