The rad scrubber is a world object in Fallout 76, introduced in the Test Your Metal update.

The rad scrubber was set up in the radioactive crater near the Foundation Outpost in order to reduce the level of radiation emitting from it. A group of technically-proficient Settlers constructed the rad scrubber, though Ruggy worried that it looked too "flimsy."[1] Nevertheless, the rad scrubber reduces the rads at the crater from +95/s to +1/s. During Event: Eviction Notice, the rad scrubber must be protected. If it is broken by the attacking super mutants, the participants have a short amount of time to repair it before the event fails.
