The portable power pack is a quest item in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
Characteristics[]
This portable device is used by repairmen in Foundation to provide a temporary supply of power. Ward is concerned what the Raiders could do with such a device.[1]
Locations[]
It is retrieved during the quest Vital Equipment.
Bugs[]
The power pack may not be removed from the player character's inventory during Vital Equipment. Because of this, it will create a loop in which the quest can be completed once per day by simply talking to Ward, as long as the item remains in the player character's inventory.[patched]
