On September 5, 2077, Jones was stopped along with his wife Sarah at the South Boston military checkpoint before the Great War. A search of his car revealed personal luggage and a trombone. The soldiers noted his cooperation, and with the contents of his vehicle matching his story, he was cleared without incident.[1]
