Nukatrons, also known as Nuka-Cola Collectrons, are a variant of Collectron encountered in Appalachia.

Background[]

Appearing when a Nuka-Cola Collectron station is built in a public workshop or at a C.A.M.P., these specialized robots have been programmed to collect Nuka-Cola, then deposit it into the station.

Characteristics[]

The Nukatron's core is similar in appearance to a miniaturized Nuka-Cola machine. It is painted Nuka-Cola red, with silver detail at the joints, and "Nuka Cola" written in yellow across a large flat surface on the front of torso. Above the branding is a small screen displaying a red colored image of a bottle cap, and the screen will occasionally flash and glitch, distorting the image. Under the brand name, there is a coin slot and a change tray. Centered on the rear of the Nukatron there is another, smaller screen displaying an all red image of a bottle cap. Above this screen is a green pressure cannister with a gauge on the right end and a faded and torn label on the middle which reads "HIGH PRESSURE".

The right arm and both legs of the Nukatron are similar in style to a Protectron, but the left arm has an appendage shaped like a Nuka-Cola bottle with a nozzle at the tip. The Nukatron does not have any unique dialogue, and uses generic Collectron lines.

Notes[]

Once unlocked, a new option for collecting "Nuka-Cola" will be available by accessing the terminal. Once this is activated, it will randomly generate any type of Nuka-Cola and Nuka-Cola bottles. This can be changed to a different type of collection by accessing the terminal on the side. By default, the only unlocked collection option will be "Junk and Scrap," with other collection options being unlocked with the acquisition of certain Collectrons.

Appearances[]

Nukatrons appear in Fallout 76, introduced in the Locked & Loaded update during the fourth season.
