The destruction of Tel Aviv was the detonation of a nuclear bomb in the city of Tel Aviv in Israel in December 2053.

Background[]

In 2052, the European Commonwealth began a long, drawn out war with the nations of the Middle East.[Non-game 1][Non-game 2]

At the end of 2053 in December, an unknown terrorist group detonated a nuclear device in Tel Aviv.[Non-game 3][Non-game 4]

The city was entirely destroyed. In the following month, limited nuclear exchanges between the Middle East and other participants began.[Non-game 5]

Notes[]

The manual for the non-canon Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel instead states that the bombing happened in 2035.[Non-canon 1]
