In correspondence with the company's president, Kenneth Aguilar, Stanley discusses the overwhelming and unexpected business a recent rumor has brought the company, of a contest that does not exist. The company was flooded with calls and messages asking if it's true that they are redeeming bottle caps for prizes.
Unsure of how to proceed, Stanley asked if he should make an official statement denouncing this rumor to which the president staunchly disagreed. Aguilar explained that sales were up 300% since these rumors started and had no intention of putting an end to it.[1]
