  • Six trees just west of Saugus Ironworks.
  • Three trees are located behind a house in Sanctuary Hills.
  • Three trees are north of the Root cellar in Sanctuary Hills.
  • Three near a house on the hill north of Concord: two are in the fenced-in backyard, third is behind the house next door.
  • Two trees are next to the Wilson Atomatoys factory.
  • Two trees are situated just outside the swimming pool area at the Slog.
  • Two can be found to the east of the road along Dark Hollow Pond.
  • One tree can be found in a farm plot at Covenant.

Notes[]

  • Mutfruit trees may be planted by using one piece of mutfruit each, providing a settlement with one unit of food and allowing the player character to regularly harvest a single piece of mutfruit from each tree.
  • Mutfruit is the only settlement food source that provides 1 food per tree, instead of 0.5. Farmers may tend to six mutfruit plants, unlike the other plants that require one farmer for 12 plants.
  • Wild mutfruit trees seem to permanently stop producing wild mutfruit after several harvests.
  • Although several mutfruit consumables appear in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, there is no equivalent world object from which they can be harvested.
  • Wasteland Workshop Five wild mutfruit trees are required to build a gorilla cage. One is required to repair the cage after catching a gorilla.
