Mutant squirrels are an enemy in the Wastelad holotape minigame.
Biology[]
A mutated version of the common squirrel, this "cute" critter has come out of nuclear annihilation as a gross shadow of its former self. While remaining largely unmutated, its most notable change is its teeth. The buck teeth are gone, replaced with long jagged fangs and foam around the mouth.
Its claws have extended and appear to be very well suited at attacking, proof that even the smallest creatures can be deadly. It has also grown a third arm on its right side. Its stomach and shoulder are coated in boils and sores, and what little fur remains is prickly and sparse.
