Merle Haverston

Merle Haverston was a businesswoman before the Great War.

Background[]

She was the founder of Merle's Very Cherry Soda, a cherry drink brewed and distributed locally. Her company and the soft drink were bought by John-Caleb Bradberton and eventually became Nuka-Cherry.^[1]

Merle was mentioned in a description for a Nuka-Cherry player icon in Fallout 76, available as part of season 11, Nuka-World. This description appeared in the season 11 preview on Bethesda's official Fallout website.^{[Non-game 1]} However, it was changed for the live release of the season; the actual in-game description does not mention Merle.
