Gregory Adler was a robotics scientist from General Atomics International, who was contracted by the United States government to work on the robobrain project at Robotics Technology Facility RB-2851.
Background[]
Considered exceptionally skilled, Adler was expected to work alongside Anna Karim, his long-time rival, with the expectation that the rivalry would result in increased creativity due to their need to "one-up each other."[1]
Both he and Karim worked off-site, but their research teams assigned to RB-2851 more than made up for their absence, especially once test subjects started arriving on the scene.[2] Adler was very sensitive about unannounced changes to the staff, particularly the addition of Kara Asante to the project.[3]
