Gordy was an employee at relay tower HG-B7-09 before the Great War.
Background[]
Gordy complained about the tremors caused by mining operations in the area. He was sick of having to do more work than the other relay stations, because the earthquakes required them to constantly put things back together. He considered transferring to relay tower EL-B1-02, as a rumor stated that the workers there were allowed to play chess. Another employee told Gordy to "stop [his] whining" and start working on repairing a satellite with Tom.[1]
