Glowing fungus, or Flammulina velutipes,[1] is a mutated variant of the pre-War fungus.
Characteristics[]
Glowing fungus is a prevalent type of flora in the former United States, found in Appalachia, the Capital Wasteland, the Commonwealth, the Island and as far west as the Mojave Wasteland.
They sometimes grow on dead things. They are occasionally seen in strange formations, such as straight lines spanning cave tunnels.[2] They can be used in stew.[3]
