There have been some crazy mutations in the Wasteland to humans, some beneficial (like Super Mutants) and some not so beneficial (like Trogs). I wonder if it is possible that you could mutate over time or something, like turn into a Super Mutant or a Ghoul depending on the encounters you face.

That would be pretty messed up and fun at the sametime. But I doubt it since it isn't in the past games. ---Legion- 23:52, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Limited mutations do exist in the past Fallout games, see Mutate! and Mutated toe. However, a full scale mutation is not going to happen - to become a Super Mutant, you'd have to be dipped and receive a severe overdose of FEV-II. To become a ghoul, you'd have to be exposed to radiation for a long time. No, Moira's not a ghoul, she suffers from radiation sickness. Please don't rip out my spleen and eat it with Fava beans but..........Liberal exposure to radiation for an extended period of time sometimes causes humans with an unknown genetic characteristic to transform into ghouls, although rare cases of faster transformations into ghouls are also not unheard of. So Moira could be a ghoul Sheepbiter 09:13, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
