The fishing rod is a junk item in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
A long pole made of wood with a reel attached to one end. It was used for the sport of fishing before the War.

Locations[]
- Three near Sanctuary Hills: one in a boat at the eastern tip of Sanctuary island, from here head north to find one next to a suitcase and from here head west to find a third one on a dock, next to a skeleton.
- One can be found at the outside part of the Weston water treatment plant.
- Another can be found on the upper level of the Parsons Creamery inside of the fishing boat.
- One can be found in a small hut south of The Castle.
- One can be found in a ruined display at the Walden Pond gift shop.
