A truck is a motor vehicle designed for utility purposes, to transport materials, or for personal and recreational use. Many variants of pre-War trucks can be found throughout the wasteland, their remains still littering the roadways of the United States.
Characteristics[]
Almost all trucks share a common construction: they are made of a chassis, a cab, an area for placing cargo or equipment, axles, suspension and roadwheels, an engine, and a drivetrain. Many also tow one or more trailers or semi-trailers. Although some trucks are built to individual tasks, others are more standardized, being tailored to specialized tasks. Many have pre-War company, military, or governmental names and logos emblazoned on them.
