“A bottle of Roentgen rum. It glows in the dark!”
Roentgen rum is a consumable item in Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics.
Background[]
This glowing liquor is produced in the ghoul town of Gecko alongside Gamma Gulp beer and is served in its local bar, the Harp.[1] Despite being radioactive, Roentgen rum is exported from Gecko and can be found in all of the bars of New Reno.
While plotting to smuggle alcohol into Vault City, Lydia is aware of the drink but will not accept it due to its radioactivity.[2]
Characteristics[]
A strong, radioactive liquid. The Roentgen rum causes vision to blur, as well as potential addiction.

Wooz: "You want a drink, huh? Well, we've got our very own Gamma Gulp Beer at $5/bottle and, for special occasions, our Roentgen Rum at $12/bottle."
The Chosen One: "This is a special occasion, of a sort. I'd like a bottle of your Roentgen Rum."
(Wooz's dialogue) - ↑ The Chosen One: "How much real alcohol would you need?"
Lydia: "Say, a case of ten bottles of premium alcohol, and ten bottles of beer. And none of that radioactive stuff I hear comes out of Gecko. Just good old 'booze,' all right?"
