The Fasnacht bonfire, also known as the Old Man Winter effigy, is a world and workshop object in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wild Appalachia update.

This item is a large bonfire similar to the one used during Fasnacht Day in Helvetia. It is constantly burning and adorned with Fasnacht-related decorations. The head of "Old Man Winter" sits atop the bonfire, as part of the tradition to burn away the season.

- The Fasnacht bonfire was created by world artist Gabriel Espino.[1]
- Fastnacht is an annual carnival celebrated by Swiss, German and Austrian people while traditionally wearing masks that represent demons, jesters, witches and animals. In Helvetia, West Virginia it is normally celebrated once per year on the first weekend after Fat Tuesday,[2] and concludes with the burning of an effigy in a bonfire, without any robots or megasloths.[3]
