Ellys Tan is a developer who works at Bethesda Softworks on Fallout 76 as a senior quest designer and writer, first listed in the updated credits with Wastelanders.
Work on the Fallout series[]
Tan was hired on shortly before the initial launch of Fallout 76, working on last-minute fixes for the game. After that, they worked on the Wild Appalachia update.[1]
Tan worked on several main quests and multiplayer events for Fallout 76, in addition to writing dialogue and many notes and terminal entries.[2] They worked on the events Campfire Tales, Free Range, Project Paradise and Mischief Night (2019),[3] as well as Grahm's Meat-Cook,[4] Invaders from Beyond[5] and the Wasted on Nukashine quest line (for which they contributed to the writing of Biv).[1] As a writer on Steel Dawn and Steel Reign, Tan was the "character owner" for Knight Daniel Shin[1] and wrote the character Burke, who also uses they/them pronouns.[6] Tan also wrote Danilo for Expeditions: The Pitt and was the product owner for mutated public events in Mutation Invasion.[1]
