Ellie is a deceased character in the Prost bar in 2287.

Background[]

Ellie was the proprietor of the struggling Nu Cafe Ola, a Nuka-Cola themed cafe near the Boston Common. She opened the cafe after coming to Boston with a group of friends in May 2286, hoping for a fresh start. People in Diamond City told her about the dangers at Swan's Pond, not far from her cafe's location; their proximity to the pond contributed to the cafe's lack of success, as many found it too dangerous to approach.

In 2286, Ellie heard rumors that Nuka-World had become a trade center and planned to visit sometime later. She received a letter from her sister in December and decided to go see her at Nuka-World in early 2287. However, she discovered that the theme park had been taken over by the Nuka-World raiders, and her sister was nowhere to be found. By March, she had returned to Boston.

In July, the cafe was held hostage by raiders and Ellie was forced to give them most of her supplies. She was forced to close the cafe because of these dangers and the associated lack of customers. She planned a visit to Quincy to trade for anything she could use to secure the cafe.^[1] Ellie never reopened the cafe, as she died during a supply run in the Prost bar some time later.^[2]
