Edward Rutledge was a protectron utilized in the National Archives.
Background[]
Rutledge of South Carolina was the youngest signer of the Declaration of Independence.[1] His namesake was one of eight protectrons designed to carry out Declaration-signing reenactments and basic security functions inside the National Archives.[1]
