Sergeant Dave Mallory was the chief police officer of the BADTFL regional office in the Commonwealth before the Great War.
Background[]
A senior police officer in both tenure and age, Sergeant Mallory was angered by the recklessness of the officers under his command, namely Willison and Gibbs. As a result of his age, Mallory suffered from heartburn, an ulcer, and was forced to take constant trips to the bathroom, describing aging as a "bum deal." The one silver lining was his upcoming retirement on October 25, 2077, after which he planned to rent a cabin in the woods and finish the novel he was writing.[1]
The Great War put an end to his plans before they could happen. Just two days before his retirement, the nuclear Armageddon struck and he was killed while using the bathroom, the key to his office falling near his remains.
