“You'd give Daniel Boone a run for his money!”— Master Rifleman
Daniel Boone (November 2, 1734 – September 26, 1820) was an American folk hero and pioneer.
Background[]
A self-made man, Boone served in the American Revolutionary War before exploring parts of the Cumberland Gap in the Appalachian Mountains, mostly centered in present-day Kentucky. Although his land claims proved to be troubled, his pioneer spirit and legacy made him well-known and admired in the United States even during his lifetime, and he has since become the subject of many folk legends.
Notes[]
- The perk description for Master Rifleman and its Nuclear Winter equivalent reference Daniel Boone.
- "Daniel Boone" was a man who believed that he was the real Daniel Boone. A psychiatrist in Charleston recommended that he be sent to Allegheny Asylum.[1]
Appearances[]
Daniel Boone is mentioned in Fallout 76 and its Nuclear Winter update.
