Chadwell was a member of the West Tek research center's cleaning staff who fell into a tank of FEV before the Great War.

Chadwell worked at the West Tek research center and fell into a tank of FEV on August 8, 2077. Despite being in full hazmat gear, he never left the tank, not calling for help or coming up for air. His suit either dissolved due to the nature of FEV or had already been pierced when he fell into the tank. His body was discovered by fellow technician Carl Wurth later that day when the tank was drained for maintenance, Chadwell's mutated visage causing Wurth to consider quitting.[1]
