A carbine is a rifle that has a barrel shortened from its original length. Most carbines are generally compact versions of a longer rifle or are rifles chambered for less powerful cartridges.
Variants[]
Assault carbine[]
The assault carbine is an automatic weapon that uses 24 round magazines. Chambered for 5mm ammunition, it was created specifically for use by American airborne units.[Non-game 1] The assault carbine has a very high rate of fire, and can empty its entire magazines in seconds. However, its compact design makes it easy to control, resulting in high accuracy and low spread.
Marksman carbine[]
The marksman carbine is a long range weapon designed for designated marksmen. It is chambered in 5.56mm with a rail mounted telescopic sight on top of the receiver, and is semi-automatic with a twenty-round magazine.

Trail carbine[]
The trail carbine features a good ammunition capacity, great balance of damage and damage-per-second (DPS), brisk rate of fire, and high accuracy. The weapon is also inexpensive to repair, and incredibly durable, withstanding 2495 shots before breaking. Its tubular magazine is reloaded by hand one round at a time, as such it can be interrupted mid-way through reloading and fired if needed.
Manwell carbine[]
The Manwell carbine is a .308 self-loading rifle capable of both semi-auto and full-auto fire, depending on the receiver chosen. It boasts the largest default capacity of any weapon chambered for .308 rounds, which can be furthered with magazine mods. The full rifle version of this weapon is the Manwell rifle.
