Cannibal is a perk in Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 that allows the player character to engage in cannibalism.
Overview[]
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas[]
The perk has one rank in both games and has the same effects, e.g. the amount of health restored, rads added and Karma lost when devouring a human or ghoul corpse is the same. The only difference is the level required to obtain the perk. In addition, the perk unlocks special lines of dialogue with certain non-player characters.
Fallout 4[]
The perk has three ranks. The first rank allows human corpses to be eaten by the player, the second rank adds ghouls and super mutants to the menu, and the third rank increases restored Hit Points. Unlike the Karma system from previous games, a companion's affinity toward the Sole Survivor is directly influenced by witnessing the act. In addition, eating corpses in Survival mode may lead to an addiction.
Fallout 76[]
The perk has three ranks, with each rank restoring more Hit Points and Hunger. The Vault Dwellers can feast on corpses of the same creatures as in Fallout 4, and additionally on the newly implemented Scorched and mole miners.
