Burke was the surveyor in charge of scouting out a location for Camp Guardian.
Background[]
Burke surveyed the location for Camp Guardian, but his team neglected to do a thorough enough job to find any of the site's caves, let alone the lakelurk nest within. Sergeant Banner intended on speaking to Burke about this oversight, as it was not the first time it had occurred.[1] This, however, was not to be, as all but one member of the Camp Guardian squad would be killed by the mutants in late October 2281.
