Buffalo gourd plants are found in the Mojave Wasteland and Zion Canyon.
Characteristics[]
Found across roadways and in the open desert, buffalo gourd plants produce seeds that can be harvested. Some plants found throughout the Mojave are withered and some have small yellow flowers.
When harvested, the plant appears differently, with seeds and leaves missing. The seeds will regrow over time, upon which the plant can be harvested again.
Locations[]
- Mojave Outpost - Four plants are located in the picnic area behind the headquarters building, and three across the road by the brahmin pen.
- Primm - Two plants are located right outside Deputy Beagle's residence.
- Several vines are scattered among the ruined houses and streets in the neighborhood to the west of H&H Tools factory.
- A giant version of the plant can be found to the southeast of Monte Carlo Suites.
- One in the road in front of the Goodsprings General Store.

Buffalo gourd plants appear in Fallout: New Vegas and the add-on Honest Hearts.
Behind the scenes[]
The buffalo gourd seed is a real world plant, known as Cucurbita foetidissima.
