Background[]
A native of Pittsburgh, Rhoades signed up as a mercenary with the Hellcat Company well before the Fanatics rallied and began their campaign of conquest against the Pitt. Rhoades was generally disgusted with the Hellcats' contract with the Fanatics, as it amounted to little more than wanton slaughter and destruction, with plenty of friendly fire incidents. However, as a Pittsburgher, they put up with it, as the Pitt was something they knew all their life.[1]
